Located in Largo Conselheiro Teixeira de Sousa, the Junta de Freguesia is nowadays inserted in the old Favaios Primary School, built in the 20th century, in the old male wing of the building. Integrated in the centre of the village, the building is now home of the main administrative services of the village, being also a landmark of the most recent history of the village, surrounded by a garden destined to the rest of those who want it, with a view to the vineyards that surround the locality.
